Around Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Around App, Inc. ("Around", "we") for your use of the Around app. By creating an account you agree to them.

Using Around

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country.
• Use your real name or a name your friends will recognize. Don't impersonate anyone.
• Only add phone numbers and follow people you actually know.
• You're responsible for what you share. Your city is visible to people you both follow, so only connect with people you trust.

What you can't do

• Use Around to stalk, harass, threaten or monitor anyone without their consent.
• Try to work out anyone's precise location, or collect other users' data (scraping, automated access, reverse engineering the API).
• Upload profile photos that are illegal, sexual, hateful or that you don't have the rights to.
• Interfere with the service or other people's use of it.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

Your content

You keep ownership of your name, photo and Passport. You give us permission to store and show them to the people you've chosen, only to run Around.

Location accuracy

Around shows approximate, city-level locations. They can be wrong or out of date, for example when a city is a network-based guess. Don't rely on Around for safety, emergencies or anything critical.

The service

We're always improving Around and may change or discontinue features. The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to US$50.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. These terms stop applying once it's deleted, apart from the sections that by their nature should continue.

Apple

Apple isn't a party to these terms and isn't responsible for the app or its support. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Around on Apple devices.
